Alrighty, so, I fully appreciate the weather here is showing little sign of cooling down, and there has been some crazy tropical weather around the country lately… but calendar-wise, Autumn has officially started. So let’s just recalibrate our priorities here folks and focus because my favourite season has finally kicked off and we should be wearing our trench coats and transitional season jackets NOW.

Let’s also take a moment to appreciate that we have entered that magical transitional period where the gap between the way we dress across both hemispheres isn’t too wide. It is the time I feel truly at one with my European gal pal, soul sister bloggers (that I’ve never met) who are all over my Pinterest boards.

I’m a layering and jacket-enthusiast and my wardrobe is a true reflection of this. Living in Sydney, we realistically only get 4-5 months of jacket/coat weather (if we’re lucky) so while waiting for Autumn to kick in, I’m going to get you all on the front foot for the season with some good ol’ fashioned planning for jacket weather ahead. If you’re stumped for Autumn inspiration, you’ve come to the right place. I have a disproportionate (read: ridiculous) amount of jackets and coats and will happily chew your ear off (or in this case, bash out a blog post) sharing my favourite styles.
